The GRANDAGE LEGACY represents the next evolution of APIA's light game rods, crafted with TORAYCA® third-generation carbon fiber running throughout its length. This innovative material not only makes the rod incredibly lightweight, but also elevates its sensitivity and control to new heights. Equipped with a newly designed, ultra-precise solid tip and refined blank exterior, the GRANDAGE LEGACY offers a blank unlike anything before, pushing the boundaries of light game rods even further.

At the heart of this breakthrough is the combination of TORAYCA® "M40X" and "T1100G" carbon fibers, delivering exceptional performance in terms of sensitivity, casting distance, and operability—qualities that anglers can immediately feel. To safeguard the lightweight and delicate blank, APIA has incorporated "Shield Tech Light," a lighter version of the protective tape used in the GRANDAGE ATLAS, which guards against small scratches. An unsanded finish adds both strength and extreme sensitivity, enhancing the rod's performance.

The GRANDAGE LEGACY also features APIA’s advanced "NANO JOINT" system, developed using NANOALLOY® Technology to address the common issue of joint tension in two-piece rods. By employing this technology across all models with a put-in method, the rod achieves superior "strength," "lightweight," and "balance," surpassing even the performance of the traditional Inro joint, particularly in its smooth bending curve. The joint is also polished to an ultra-high precision of 2 to 5 thousandths of a millimeter, preventing any loosening during fishing.

The solid tip, made from 100% high-elasticity TORAYCA® material, is designed for both strength and durability. The "Type H" tip prioritizes responsiveness, while the "Type S" emphasizes sensitivity to bites. For even greater customization, models with item numbers ending in "HS (hard solid)" offer solid tips focused on strong response, while "SS (soft solid)" tips prioritize detecting subtle bites.
